Reports run from the start of the first snow around mid-November. Until the 24/25 season these were previously posted mostly daily between Xmas and mid-Feb, and then continued sporadically until the last lifts close in early May (at Seki Onsen, Akakura Kanko and Lotte Arai). However, this is under review for the 25/26 season. Watch this space!

When is the best time for skiing in Myoko? Generally January and February are the best months for skiing in Myoko Kogen although it’s not unusual to have awesome powder conditions in December or March, or even April! For more information on the area check out Myoko ski resort info here.
